Archery and Equity

A Story of Arrows and Equity

From the moment I first held a bow in middle school, archery captured my heart. Archery taught me to focus, stay calm under pressure, and aim with precision. I spent hours at the range everyday after school, practicing my technique and finding joy in the balance between strength and finesse. By the time I reached high school, archery was more than a hobby. It was a part of me.

But, life has a way of adding new chapters.

When I arrived at college, I was ready to explore new opportunities. Though I loved archery, I was also curious about the world of business and finance. I joined a few clubs and discovered an unexpected passion: equity research. Analyzing companies, uncovering market trends, and understanding those complex numbers, it felt like scoping until I reached the true company’s value.

Staring at a blank page in this blog thinking about what I should write, I decided to share my story about archery through the lens of equity research?

I began to explore companies tied to archery or related sports.

Today, this newsletter is still small, but it’s a source of pride and joy. It’s my way of staying connected to the sport that shaped me while forging a path in the financial world.

Who knows where it will take me?

For now, I’m content aiming for my own version of a bullseye with a combination of my both passions.
